Believe in lovely!
Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at 10:44AM I have a very hard time waking up to new days. I'm not sure what the reason is. Something in my body shift in the night and some of the hope-littleness that I am able to breakthrough during the day seeps back to consciousness and makes rising, and moreover shining a real big task. I am beginning to see that if I can just make it out of bed and push through I begin slowly to feel more like myself. Today was one such morning. I woke up grumpy and groggy, laid in bed for a moment and though, "Maggie, if you can get up, fix your cup of tea and your bowl of oatmeal things will start looking brighter." So that is what I did.
I got up, put my water on for tea, immersed my stash green and white fusion tea into the hot water, and myself into this new day. I have a habit of getting up and getting online to check my stuff, and to read my blogs. I've been thinking this is perhaps not the best way to start the day, but oh well, I'll work on that later. Today, however, it was the perfect way to start the day because I ran across something so beautiful I sat with tears of joy and recognition rolling gently down my cheek as I watch it. It was interesting that I ran across it at the gorgeous djkreutzer, a site I frequent, and then again at mati rose, a site I just first visited today! So I will share it here, because it gave me such a huge amount of hope-FULLNESS, and that is the perfect antidote to hope-littleness!

Hey, Maggie Ann ~
I am a lurker on the Todd Snider discussion list and clicked through the link of your recent post - I am awed and inspired by your honest, creative and hope-filled blog.
The Beckoning of Lovely indeed - I wept with gratitude at my continued faith in human nature... which this video completely reinforces!
We should all "make the most of our life here" - else what's the point, right?
Keep believing, kiddo - I do... when I read of young people like you who are committed to changing the world... one heart at a time... <3
