Bliss Ripple is a catalog of clues— fieldnotes for living into one’s internal bliss. Compiled through the creative works of poet, artist, musician, and mama Maggie A. Bishop, Bliss Ripple explores the idea of resounding joy— how to create it and expand it through living with passionate honesty.

Here you will find poems, songs, and observations written under the influence of inspiration Maggie finds scuttling and searching amidst the varied Missouri landscape with her wonder-son, adventurer Arlo, and her artist-partner and dream confidant Josh (who is also a photographer and music promoter).

Off,

I have the day off today, and despite all of my desires to whip this house into shape I am sorely lacking in any type of motivation. I think sleeping would be way more productive than what I have been up to so far today, perusing the internet with a stinky (literally) dog on my lap. Trying to regain some of the energy I lost last night-- going to a show, being with best friends, drinking a little too much, and feeling more alive than ever in recent months.
It was a good night last night, I just wish it didn't make me do damn lethargic and unmotivated today. Oh well.

so, i'm thinking, we have a burn pile the size of a small shed...

what do you think of a small school's out bonfire?

i'm thinking: only people we can stand. hot dogs, marshmallows, ipods, boxed wine.
