My Womanifesto

Bliss Ripple is a catalog of clues— fieldnotes for living into one’s internal bliss. Compiled through the creative works of poet, artist, musician, and mama Maggie A. Bishop, Bliss Ripple explores the idea of resounding joy— how to create it and expand it through living with passionate honesty.

Here you will find poems, songs, and observations written under the influence of inspiration Maggie finds scuttling and searching amidst the varied Missouri landscape with her wonder-son, adventurer Arlo, and her artist-partner and dream confidant Josh (who is also a photographer and music promoter).

Read this book:

My beautiful friend Maurine gifted me with this book as part of my bachlorette gift and I am absolutely obsessed with it. It is blunt and to the point. It offers invaluable information about we feminine creatures-- our roles, our sexuality, and about all else our anatomical jewels that are our cunts. One warning though, in order to benefit from its intense wisdom you must, must, must be open-minded and disregard most of the inadequate knowledge that has been fed to us from birth. I'll try, throughout this month, to splice in some of the amazing words and ideas the author offers up. For now though, visit Amazon.com, you can look inside the book. Also, seriously consider purchasing it. It will be one of the best $11.00 you'll spend. If I had the means I would buy it for all the women in my life. And if I had to I would read it out loud for them, because we need to know these things, we need to have them in our hearts.

I love this book and put it in a care package for my niece when she left for college (yes, I'm that aunt). Wishing you all the best as you start married life.

That's a provocative title and sounds like a great book, I'll have to get it.

I'm reading a book on tantric sex right now- and it has this whole section on reclaiming our cunts as power sources in our lives. (IT uses the word Yoni though).

I'd like this book I bet.

Hey! I worked on that book. I used to work at Seal Press, the publisher. It's been a while since I read it; now I want to read it again. I love that she says "anatomical jewels."
